Developer’s Guide to Verify Installation of Zarget Snippet

You can seamlessly verify the installation of Zarget JS snippet code in the browser by tracking the request to Zarget on your site. The example mentioned below is from Google Chrome.

Follow these steps to verify if the Zarget code is functioning in your site.

STEP 1 Open Google Chrome and navigate to the page you want to verify. Right-click on any page element and select Inspect.

STEP 2 The Developer tools window will open in your browser. Select Network tab.

STEP 3 Type ‘zarget’ in the Filter field to verify if the Zarget requests are present.

Let’s assume that the below snippet is added to the webpage.

Typing zarget in filter field filters out the Zarget requests. For the snippet above, 91371.js is the corresponding javascript file sent from the Zarget server.

If the javascript file is present, then it represents that the code is integrated into your web page properly.

If you didn’t find any match for the filter, reload the web page with the DevTool open, to start recording the network activity.

STEP 2 A DevTool window opens on your browser and click Console Tab. Enter zarget in the Search bar

If the script tag inserted is displayed, then the code is integrated into your web page properly.

Make sure that the ID of the snippet matches with the code mentioned in the DevTool page
